Private Travels vs Passengers:

 

Problem 1: Safetyness of each bus: Currently passenger don't know if the bus is certified by proper govt body or not.

Solution: Everyone should know, the current bus is eligible to travel and to be sleeper or seater? And Booking apps should show the certificate for every bus. In fact, booking apps should not allow to book uncertified buses. Government should impose these rules on booking apps which should put accountability.

Problem 2: Private travels are misbehaving with govt loop holes: Using many loop holes. Listing some of them which are aware:

1. Registration related: Bus registers on some other state and it runs on some other states.

Solution: Govt should stop allowing other state registered busses. Let the travel agencies stop running busses, because of this. That's fine. Let ticket rates raise because of this. That's fine. But we should not give up on our lives.

2. Too much power to Private travels (My experience on 25/10/2025): I have booked "7 Hills roadways" bus from A to B, journey date and time was 25/10/2025 at 17:40. On the journey date Afternoon i got a call from travels person, stating that bus got cancelled due to techincal issue at afternoon 13:00 which is just 4 hours before of the journey time.

Solution: Government MUST add a rule, that none of the buses can be cancelled at any cost

Or

If supposed to be cancelled, then MUST pay double the amount of ticket price (why not?) 

Or

MUST arrage a different bus at passengers convinience

Problem 3: Private bus staff behavior and Experience: Many are super drivers present who are aloowing Laks of passengers to reach their destination and I bow to them. But some are very rude and taking Kaveri driver incident as an example, he must have not scared and ran away. Instead he could have put a break as soon as he hit the bike, 200 meters is far, which lead to spark and fire eventually.

Solution: 

Train staff with communication skills, problem solving skills (Driver should know how to react when bus is under fire)

Training cerificates should be shown on Booking apps for passengers visibility.

What do you think, Passenger? A person who might travel in bus at some point?
